Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for contributing to the strategic development and overseeing tactical implementation of marketing programs designed to drive brand awareness, increase adoption, and contribute to the achievement of business objectives for Paragard.

This position reports to the Director of Paragard Marketing. The position requires a highly motivated individual who can work efficiently with cross functional partners to ensure strategic alignment and accomplish complex deliverables (i.e. brand planning, sales meetings, brand communications, etc.)

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Brand Professional Marketing (HCP) Leader; representing customer needs and providing HCP marketing leadership to all company functions
  • Lead for all aspects of HCP Marketing Strategic & Tactical planning and execution
  • Brand leader and liaison to the field sales teams (Territory Managers and Inside Sales Team) to drive effective communication of brand priorities and seek feedback to improve marketing tactics. Develop and manage all relevant field resources (e.g. sales aid, one pagers, etc)
  • Lead development of Professional Advertising Campaign, Creative & Messaging to deliver on established brand positioning
  • Collaborate with Clinical Specialist (CS) team to support and implement training/materials
  • Collaborate with agency partners in the execution of HCP strategic and tactical plans; work with the Agency of Records (AORs) to develop and deliver all tactical elements of the promotional mix.
  • Lead HCP media efforts and creative assets to support execution
  • Work with cross-functional team & Sales Training to develop, coordinate, and execute Field strategies including Sales Plan of Action (POA) meetings
  • Using market research and analytics to identify and implement metrics to gain market insights and measure performance on brand initiatives and programs
  • Effectively drive tactics through the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory approval process
  • Brand lead for National Convention Presence; coordination of regional presence
  • Foster solid relationships and collaborate with key opinion leading physicians
  • Monitor and understand competitor products, marketplace trends and issues to anticipate/identify threats and opportunities. Make recommendations and develop tactics to respond to threats and opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven business analysis skills
  • Proven agency management skills (e.g., managed the agency of record, managed agency pitches for RFPs, etc.)
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical legal, promotional compliance, and medical review processes
  • Marketing experience developing and executing across the promotional mix: Sales collateral, speaker programs, advertising, direct marketing, web, social media, events, etc
  • Strong written and oral communication skills as well as good presentation skills
  • Experience/knowledge of women’s health category
  • Brand and/or Indication Launch experience preferred
  • Sales and/or sales training experience preferred
  • Track record of successfully completing projects within time, quality and budget expectations
  • Capacity to influence decision making and work done by others over whom you have no formal authority
  • Highly adaptable/Flexible (ability to multi-task)

Travel:

  • The role will require minimal travel as needed for the business.


Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical HCP marketing experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of product management experience
  • Background in healthcare marketing is preferred, but experience in related industries is acceptable.
  • Experience in large companies with a deep understanding of global markets and dynamics.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is required.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $115,000 - $150,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
