Role Overview

As a BCBA, you will collaborate closely with our clinical team, including fellow BCBAs, lead therapists, registered behavioral technicians (RBTs), and ABA therapists. Your responsibilities will encompass delivering applied behavior analytic (ABA) assessments and clinical services tailored for children with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental challenges. You will also provide training and support to therapists, conduct behavioral assessments, and develop behavior support plans (BSPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement direct ABA therapy for children with autism and other developmental disorders across multiple settings.
  • Educate and train parents, teachers, and staff on ABA principles and modification techniques.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to RBTs and ABA therapists.
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and analyses.
  • Perform verbal behavior/language assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP/ABLLS-R).
  • Create and monitor individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions, daycares, healthcare professionals, and other pediatric specialists.
  • Manage administrative duties while ensuring compliance with insurance protocols.
  • Maintain a billable caseload averaging 115 hours monthly.
  • Complete and submit necessary documentation for insurance purposes.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Active BCBA certification.
  • A minimum of one year's experience providing ABA services for children.
  • Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive 10-year criminal background check.
  • Exceptional teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards challenges.

Working Conditions

  • Availability during core business hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend commitments for events.
  • 90-day introductory period for new hires, followed by eligibility for paid time off, sick leave, and holiday pay.

Physical Requirements

  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and manage client physical behaviors for safety.
