Job description

Becomean Assembler! We are looking for a Lead SNF Billing Specialist to join our SNFFinancial Services team. Thisis a full time, non-exempt position reporting to the SNF Billing Manager.

What you'll do

  • Conduct orientation and training for new hires to Billing Department
  • Help resolve billing issues that arise in the department
  • Provide back up for billing specialists and manager when needed
  • Analyze accounts receivable reports to ensure timely collections
  • Maintain payer portal access for department staff
  • Help with the set-up of new software and maintain software modules, including insurance set-up, DDE access, software access, and updating yearly case mixrates, fee schedules, and Payer rates
  • Act as the Billing Department contact for Credit Balance Reports
  • Finalize the month-end close process and provide the reporting by the deadline
  • Other tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in billing for the SNFspace
  • Experience with PCC and/or MatrixCare(formerly AOD) a plus
  • Strong written and verbal skills with theability to adjust the message to fit the audience
  • Possess strong organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize informationto understand issues and identify options
  • Engage with a wide base of clients across theorganization
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced andat times stressful environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk andworking at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to10 pounds at times.
