Job description

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage client inquiries and follow up process.
  • Make outbound calls to potential clients already identified through lead generation efforts.
  • Receive inbound calls from potential clients.
  • Assist with ensuring new clients complete the required documentation to assure services can be scheduled accordingly.
  • Create quotes for current and potential clients.
  • Responding to customer inquiries quickly and efficiently.
  • Answering phone calls, participating in virtual calls and emails in a professional manner.
  • Building rapport with customers.
  • Collecting customer information for future follow-ups.
  • Upselling services and making product/services recommendations where appropriate.
  • Research sales opportunities generated in SF (marketing gen leads).
  • Staying informed about product and service information updates.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Some knowledge of Food Safety and Certification is a definite asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred.

Additional Activities:

  • Work alongside the Associates, Client Services to support the maintenance of client accounts.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.
  • Assist with identification of areas to enhance efficiencies and increase customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Principal Customers:

  • External - food safety & food manufacturing facilities
  • Internal - sales staff

 

Qualifications Required:

Education - Associates degree or equivalent. Must also have demonstrated experience and success in a sales related role.

Training & Experience - Sales experience is strongly encouraged.  Minimum 4 years’ experience in professional environment or equivalent education.

Skills - Excellent spelling, grammar, communication, and customer service skills required.  Must be detail oriented and organized.
