Who We Are Looking For

BDC is seeking a strategic Technical Development Manager, for one of our Portfolio Companies who will manage the staff, resources, and processes required to implement the vision and strategy for new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products, focusing on the development, monitoring and management of products already in production. An individual who has a strong background in the technology fields of banking

What You Will Be Working On

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the architecture and design of new and existing products.
• Manage the development and maintenance of new products and services.
• Hire and manage internal and external development teams.
• Exercises technical leadership for the cross functional team by planning, organizing, scheduling, coordinating the work of others.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including marketing, sales and development to ensure that new and existing products meet development targets and support the organizations financial goals.
• Support client demonstrations and initial product installations
• Project Management, manage lifecycle of new and existing products through completion and launch.
• Manage Application Testing, Implementation and support for Operational Readiness
• Support a Devops production cloud environment
  
  

About You

You’re comfortable working in a dynamic, and high growth Tech environment. You have a strong technology background in banking, eCommerce and cybersecurity. You’re not only comfortable in a small firm environment, but you also thrive in one because you are a self-starter with the versatility, organization, and discipline to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or finance.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in product development and management.
• End-to-End software product development and management skills.
• Strong technical background with a knowledge of DevOps and Cloud Native.
• Structured approach with experience in an agile work methodology.
• History of collaborating with development teams and achieving outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Enthusiastic about new technology and its transformational abilities.
• Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation.
• Proficient at social, SEO and website maintenance, knowledgeable about outlook administration, preferably.
