Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Key Account Manager(KAM) is responsible for maintaining a long-term customer relationship with accounts and maximizing sales growth in Key account Channel. Development and performance of sales activities in line with the company’s vision, values and strategy. S/he also works independently to establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the market place. The candidate must build and maintain excellent customer relationships to support solid business growth. He / She will implement a consultative selling style that operates independently on a daily basis. He/She will be professional, credible and comfortable at all times dealing with optometrists, ophthalmologists, technicians, retail store managers shopkeeper and Buying office.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Under the supervision of the Head of Sales-KA, build the joint business plan with the customers.
  • Builds a retailer specific development plan, and a compelling story to get retailer buying in
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly business reviews for assigned key accounts.
  • On a weekly basis, plan, do, check, action for any variances to the aligned objectives and reasons for not missing any opportunities.
  • Build a deep customer intelligence and strong network with key stakeholders at the main customers
  • Drive effective negotiations with KA partners especially for the largest account to achieve both short/long term business goals of CVK and the customers
  • Collaborate and work closely for smooth big order schedule with CVK other functions like logistics, CS and customers’ warehouse
  • Maintain effective working relationship with corporate functions within CVK on major decisions which effect the global accounts

  • Results driven (Sales Target & Projects Rolling)
  • Strong leadership and ownership.
  • Good at problem solving and strategic thinking
  • Self-motivated with enthusiasm and prioritization
  • Good presentation, written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean.
  • Good command of Microsoft Suite
  • Good people skills for relationship building and be influential


Experience

  • At least 10 years of Key Account experience within consumer industries.
  • Industry or related medical/technical healthcare field preferred
  • Experience and demonstrated track record of performance and results.
  • Reliable experience in Medical Device company, Health Care, FMCG, OTC, and/or Cosmetics industry.
  • Strong Key account management experience particularly in managing of large customers with multi-departmental stakeholders.
  • Experience of category management and category growth initiatives and retail optical experience an advantage


Education

  • Bachelor Degree in business or business related disciplines
