Our Operations Finance Department in Bulgaria continues to grow with the expansion of our recently established team: Labs Operations Finance. The Labs Operations Finance team works to ensure that project budgets are correctly set up in our Labs Information Management Systems and additionally focus on project close-out and reconciliation processes. With time it is expected that the scope of the team's responsibilities will broaden to include additional project oversight and tactical tasks. The team currently consist of one Manager directly reporting to a Senior Director in the US, 1 Finance Analyst and 2 Finance Coordinators, who report the Manager, based in Bulgaria.

For the Labs Operations Finance team we are currently hiring:

Finance Coordinator (Labs)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures study budgets are completely and accurately entered into Labs Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Researches and resolves general inquires, billing and data issues
  • Tracks and maintains project information and budgets within the project accounting system
  • Reviews contracts to ensure they are accurately reflected within the system and makes updates as required
  • Performs finance reconciliation at study end to ensure the completeness and accuracy of revenue and billing

Education and experience:

  • University degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Information Technology or related;
  • Minimum one year of experience in a finance role preferably in a multinational environment;

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken);
  • Excel literacy;
  • Detailed-oriented personality with analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude;
  • Handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality of work;
  • Service-minded attitude and ability to adapt to changes;
  • Eagerness to work in a global team supporting various types of activities;
