Job description

What You'll Do

We’re looking for a creative, driven, experienced marketing manager to join our Partner Marketing team. Our mission is to create an exceptional Avalara experience for partners, supporting them with the right engagement and marketing resources as they start, run, and scale their business with us.

The Senior Marketing Manager will be tasked with designing and executing marketing and program management initiatives to and about our partners. This role will work at both a strategic level (setting the vision) and a tactical level (developing, managing, and launching key initiatives and programs). This role will be an integral part of our partner experience team, elevating Avalara’s partnerships to the next level.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include

  • Owning and refining the partner value prop, messaging framework, and partner personas
  • Marketing to partners about the Avalara Partner Program
  • Reimagining and expanding our partners' digital presence on Avalara.com including designing and launching a new partner directory
  • Developing and curating the Partner Portal experience
  • Building foundational program and marketing assets to support the global partner program and other program-related initiatives like sales incentives and certifications

  • 8+ years of relevant marketing and program management experience in a high growth SaaS or technology company
  • Startup mentality with a bias for action
  • Executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Superb organization and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail

Pay Range Details

The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Colorado $105,900 - $169,500 (annually)

Washington $105,900 - $187,200 (annually)

California $105,900 - $205,000(annually)

New York $117,000 - $205,000 (annually)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual salary/wage may be based on various factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
