Responsibilities

The Sr. Director Executive Talent Acquisition defines the strategy for Ascension’s Executive Recruitment activities and leads the operations of talent acquisition and onboarding for all executives, including market and national roles. The Sr. Director Executive Talent Acquisition ensures talent placement contributes to strategic organizational capability development.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads all aspects of Ascension’s Executive Recruitment function, including internal talent sourcing, external networking and white glove onboarding.
  • Leads a highly-effective team of executive recruiters and onboarding specialists.
  • Partners with business and HR leaders to understand talent needs and pipelines the talent required to improve associate, consumer & patient outcomes.
  • Develops a custom, best-in-class process to maintain a seamless, high-touch candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Understands the business, culture, and talent needs of the organization (national and local) including work groups and organizations that span across markets.
  • Monitors the organization’s internal talent and proactively identifies internal candidates for future needs, using talent planning data and relationship building to ensure internal placement when talent is available.
  • Manages partnerships and contracts with all executive search and interim search firms.
  • Creates the overall strategy for engaging with external recruiting partners; manage and track external spend to optimize savings.
  • Develops, manages, and leverages a broad professional network, stays current on market trends and sourcing practices for generating results aligned to business priorities.
  • Fosters a culture of appreciation, belongingness, inclusivity, diversity and equity to drive the associate experience.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management
