WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Design and conduct a variety of research studies, including user testing, usability tests, concept tests, group discussions, etc.
  • Execute on operational aspects of user research such as recruiting study participants and scheduling interview sessions
  • Develop interview scripts and prep team members for research sessions
  • Partner with UX/UI designers and product strategists to define user experience flows for research sessions
  • Help the product team to define the product roadmap
  • Collect and synthesize customer feedback and present it to collaborators and stakeholders
  • Work closely with designers to iterate on UX/UI based on customer feedback
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers on suggesting changes and new solutions based on the findings of user research

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • You have 5 - 7 years of experience operating as a highly skilled individual contributor, both in and alongside agile teams
  • Demonstrated success in applying continuous customer discovery best practices
  • Knowledge of user research methods and experience determining the most effective method for each use case
  • Knowledge of user analytics and research tools (e.g., surveys, WalkMe, Google Analytics, Heap, etc.)
  • Hands on experience practicing user research for B2B digital products
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to successfully execute on multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Excellent communication, listening, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with a solid sense for setting priorities
  • Passionate about customer-driven design
  • Desire to learn about and explore different customer journeys
  • Able to flex and pivot quickly in the midst of customer interviews
  • Strong focus on B2B, Risk Management, and some skills with applications in UX research with Supply Chain would be ideal
