Job Description

  • Ensuring that all suppliers meet the company's stringent quality standards, including conducting supplier audits and monitoring supplier performance metrics.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify and resolve quality issues related to supplier materials or products.
  • Developing and implementing corrective action plans to address supplier quality issues.
  • Working with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in their quality processes.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to supplier quality.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to evaluate and select new suppliers, ensuring that they meet the company's quality requirements.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to supplier quality.
  • Providing guidance and support to internal teams on supplier quality issues as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering in the electronics manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of PCB's
  • Experience with supplier audits, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Must be willing to travel more than 50% of the time
