The Senior HRIS Manager will perform varied and complex tasks associated with the support and maintenance of the Company’s HR related systems. These projects include post-affiliation integrations, systems implementations, UKG Pro upgrades and new modules, testing and other technical projects as assigned. They establish clear ownership for the project by applying project management principles, best practices, and techniques to ensure deadlines and objectives are met. The Senior HRIS Manager constantly monitors and reports on project progress to all stakeholders and presents problems and solutions to achieve maximum results. The ideal candidate would be self-driven, accountable, and willing to work with other individuals from independent teams to achieve project success.

Responsibilities

Integration Responsibilities:

  • Project Management - Manage several acquisition processes and workstreams at once. Participate in all internal project status meetings, maintain the HRIS project plan, manage the open action items list, and drive tasks to be completed by project deadlines. Use available systems (MS Teams, MS Projects, Task Ray, SharePoint and Dropbox) as our project and risk mitigator by maintaining up-to-date statuses on related tasks.
  • Requirements Gathering - Work with Implementation and Tuckin teams to gather information and identify differences in processes and data across the care centers. This position will evaluate and document recommended workflows as it relates to roles and responsibilities for HR operations, payroll processing and responsibilities, data management and related activities. With a focus on system optimization, standardization, and productivity, make recommendations on the appropriate access levels for the affiliate’s end users and staff to provide a seamless, easy to use solution. This position will provide knowledge transfer to HR, Benefits and Payroll admins during the implementation, testing and rollout process.
  • System Design - Work with affiliates to identify if new system setup will be needed to accommodate their business practices. This will include but are not limited to new company, locations, org levels, jobs, pay groups, benefit eligibility groups and more.
  • Data Validation and Conversion - Work with affiliates to gain access to current HRIS/Payroll systems. Manage data conversion files from Legacy system(s) this would include transforming the data to meet HCM system requirements. Extract and scrub all related employee identity, payroll, and benefits data needed to move into UKG HCM platform. Maintain ongoing efforts to process employee changes including hires and terminations until go live. Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits.
  • Testing - Maintain updates to the existing testing strategy of running parallel payrolls and employee level testing. Conduct employee level side-by-side audits from legacy affiliate systems to UKG. Make any adjustments to employee records via imports and back office. Retest as needed.
  • Go Live Support - Ensure all tasks have been successfully completed and the system is ready for time capture and live payroll processing. Support HR Operations, Benefits and Payroll teams during the process for immediate system adjustments.
  • System Integrations - Assist in the development or modification with system interfaces that are maintained by Alight Benefits platform and UKG UCN’s.
  • Reporting/Dashboards - Work with the Data Analytics team to build or update existing reports and dashboards to include new affiliates. These will be in multiple system locations including but not limited to UKG Cognos Analytics, HRSD Looker, and UKG Dimensions. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data, and coordinating issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Project Process Improvement - Recommend HRIS project improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Use project management skills in managing projects.

UKG Pro System Optimization Responsibilities:

  • System Optimization - Work with appropriate HR leader to optimize the UKG Pro system and data flow to external systems. Work could include utilizing platform configuration to customize the HCM, working with other Unified systems to accommodate their needs and push out via Okta integrations. Document processes and results.
  • Production Support - Provide support for UKG Pro including, but not limited to, researching and resolving UKG Pro problems, unexpected results or process flaws.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years progressive HRIS experience, with a minimum of 3 years in an HR Analysis role.
  • Proven experience as an HRIS Manager or similar role in Human Resources
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years UKG Pro and Cognos experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures to ensure correct implementation.
  • Strong understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Cognos Analytics and thorough knowledge of Word and PowerPoint required.
  • Systems implementation experience highly desirable.
  • SQL database experience desirable.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
  • Critical thinking, time management, logical problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail is required
