Job Description

 • The HRIS Project Manager will be accountable for the management and overall delivery of HRIS projects as assigned, mainly focusing on Workday HRIS projects. Examples of projects directly owned or supported by this role may include Workday HCM global expansion to UK and/or Canada, Workday bi-annual upgrade release projects, Workday Extend projects and other projects as assigned by leadership. This is a hands-on role where the resource will be expected to perform Workday HR solutions, configuration and testing work along with managing projects. For the assigned HRIS/Workday projects, the resource will work closely with other HRIS leaders and build resource plans, project plans, and other project management artifacts. The resource will also be responsible for managing deliverables, managing risk, and resolving or escalating issues. Develop, maintain, and track progress against the project plan and a clear set of defined deliverables, phases, and milestones. Lead cross-functional planning and execution of projects aligned with the HR strategy including business requirements, process design, functional requirements, data management, testing, and production operations. Understand the end-to-end business process and design medium or large Workday enhancements and/or projects. Provide functional production support, system configuration, system testing & product /data stewardship for Workday when necessary. Coordinate multiple HRIS solutions within a matrixed organizational environment. Collaborate with HR business partners to understand business needs related to human resources information systems. 
Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  •  8+ years of experience working with Workday HR modules in an HRIS role of which at least 4 years managing major Workday HRIS projects.
  •  Knowledge and experience in systems implementations, change management, and knowledge management, testing methodologies and best practices.
  •  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  •  Excellent Analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, communication and team building skills.
  •  Attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
  •  Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) complex subjects to all levels of the organization.
  •  Proficiency in Smartsheet and Visio preferred.
  •  Understanding of Applicant tracking systems, especially Avature will be an added plus.
  •  Workday Extend experience is a plus
