JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The National Supplier Contracting Project Manager will be responsible for managing the contract lifecycle to include drafting, reviewing, amending, renewing, terminating, and abstracting supplier/vendor contracts.

The start date for this position will be December 1st.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and assist in negotiating supplier contracts.
  • Recognize and understand business terms, legal concepts, and structure of legal contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's contract policies and procedures.
  • Manage contract lifecycle process including preparation and execution of contracts, tracking negotiations, tracking business requirements, and abstracting fully executed contracts.
  • Provide guidance to business teams regarding contractual language and existing contractual obligations.
  • Maintain supplier and contract tracking database.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Experience with Ironclad highly preferred; experience with Salesforce and ClickUp or other project/contract management software a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a self-directed fashion with excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, organize and prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills including tact/diplomacy, persuasion, negotiation, and cooperation.
  • Strong working knowledge of advanced functions of Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook and Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and ability to understand and utilize contract databases.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Assertive with the motivation to work independently and self-directed.
  • Willing to perform under tight deadlines and appropriately prioritize work while maintaining patience in high pressure situations.
  • Experience or interest in project management, creating process improvements and improving contract-management practices.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three years of experience with contract management/administration or six years of experience total in lieu of a degree and experience.
  • A paralegal certification and/or experience is not required for this position but will be considered a plus.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000

Additional Compensation:

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
