Job description

About the role

To provide all the administration and customer service functions required for the efficient operation of Team Global Express. This function supports the Administration Supervisor and is involved in all administrative support activities.

What you’ll do

  • Contribute to the highest standards of Customer Service support by diligently attending to customer facings tasks, answering the telephone, handling enquiries and relaying messages in a professional, and prompt manner to achieve the best possible customer experience.

  • Address and resolve stakeholder queries in a timely manner.

  • Utilise internal systems to complete administration and customer service tasks (training provided)

  • Ad hoc Reception duties.

  • Process core operational data entry (connotes) are processed on a daily basis.

  • Prioritise work throughout the day and complete in a timely manner.

  • Prepare weekly wages and reconciliation reports for Revenue and reporting.

  • Provide administrative support to the operations team as and where required.

  • Maintain staff training and compliance databases.

  • Ensure that all training is recorded and sent to Training Coordinator for upload into Learning system.

  • Assist Administration & Branch Manager in on-boarding and off-boarding employees as well as arranging necessary pre-employment inductions.

What you’ll bring

  • Customer Service and office administration experience (transport or logistics industry desirable)

  • Excellent communication skills with previous experience in customer or services

  • Proactive with good problem-solving skill and confidence to manage queries and find resolutions.

  • Strong focus on attention to detail

  • Possess commitment to safety – identify inefficient or unsafe work practices.

  • Proficient with MS Office
