Events Manager | Contract

At Movement Labs, we are leading the way in blockchain technology with an open modular framework for building and deploying Move-based infrastructure, applications, and blockchains in any distributed environment. We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Events Manager on a contract basis to lead the planning and execution of our upcoming conferences, hackathons, parties, and community meetups. This role will work closely with our marketing and production teams to deliver memorable, high-impact events that reflect our brand and engage our audience.

You Will:

• Lead the end-to-end planning, organization, and execution of events, ensuring alignment with Movement Labs’ goals and brand identity

• Establish and maintain clear communication with vendors, including AV, catering, décor, and production, ensuring seamless event logistics

• Oversee on-site content creation, such as video production, photography, and media, to capture key moments and share event highlights with the wider community

• Assist in the vetting, negotiation, and processing of sponsors, ensuring that partnerships align with event objectives and brand values

• Plan and execute engaging meetups, hackathons, and social events that resonate with Movement Labs' target audience

You Have:

• Proven experience in event planning and management, ideally within crypto

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and manage multiple vendors to ensure timely delivery

• Experience overseeing on-site media production, including managing video and photography teams

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously

• A passion for creating inclusive, community-driven events and fostering engagement within the tech space

• Ability to travel as needed for in-person events
