Position: Contract Generalist Programmer - Unreal Engine

Location: Flexible (Remote)

Your Role: As a Contract Generalist Programmer specializing in Unreal Engine, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team. You’ll work closely with designers and artists to bring brilliant ideas to life, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in gaming!

What You Will Do:

  • Work collaboratively to design, develop, and implement engaging gameplay mechanics.
  • Debug and optimize code for performance across platforms.
  • Contribute to the technical planning and design of game systems.
  • Participate in team discussions to brainstorm and refine project direction.
  • Deliver high-quality code that meets the project requirements and timelines.

Requirements

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Strong professional experience with C++ and professional experience with Unreal Engine.
  • At least 5 years of experience in game development, with a focus on gameplay programming.
  • Must have shipped at least 1 title with a professional studio
  • A solid understanding of game design principles and practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience with VR or AR development is a plus!
