Job Details

  • As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of accurate and timely advice and sign-off to business stakeholders on compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, both provided by the individual and the team as a whole, as well as support on projects and other BAU activities
  • Work with the wider team in ensuring that all areas of our business understand the regulatory landscape, priorities and approach 
  • Review, analyse and challenge management information provided by the business in support of compliance with regulatory requirements 
  • Identify/highlight emerging regulatory risks and regulatory changes and prepare summaries and impact analyses for the business, supported by relevant and pragmatic recommendations
  • Support the in ensuring all regulatory submissions and responses to regulatory requests for information including consultation are identified collated and managed within required timelines. 
  • Attend appropriate working groups, steering committees and forums providing advice and escalate material matters accordingly
  • Assist in collating committee packs and support in managing compliance risks, frameworks and controls 

Skills we would love you to have 

  • FCA general insurance/broking/insurer compliance experience (essential)
  • Experience of UK regulatory regime and regulatory topics such as ICOBS, PROD,
  • Consumer Duty (essential), Financial Crime, CONC
  • Exceptional stakeholder awareness and management
  • Excellent MI analytical skills to identify poor outcomes and conduct risk trends 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both in writing and oral
  • Proven track record of working on own initiative and in a team and delivering practical outcomes in a fast and timely manner

Salary – Attractive salary based on experience + car allowance (pay reviews also completed each year)
