About the role

The Field Sales team is a core part of Dyson’s Benelux Sales Department. We are looking for a dynamic driven candidate who has some experience as sales person, and is looking to expand their commercial & merchandising skills.  

As a Field Merchandiser you will drive product sales directly in store and through the awareness you build of the Dyson brand within our retailer’s stores. Regionally based, you will work closely within your team and use your hands-on mentality, relationships and training to ensure Dyson’s sales strategy is delivered in your area. 

Working region: 

South West of the Netherlands  

Note: this role requires regular weekend work, incidental evenings.  
The fixed working day schedule is Tuesday till Saturday. 

Accountabilities:  

  • Driving sales growth in your region 
  • Increase Dyson sales within your region. Together with the area manager identify opportunities to increase Dyson sales within regions and individual retailers.  
  • Support the total Sell-Out performance of all doors within the given region.  
  • Collect & Analyse field insight data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. 
  • Weekly presentation of the collected field insights from your area 
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with retailers sales staff, department managers and store Managers. 
  • Work in store during weekends and commercial moments to ensure best in class execution and lead by example 

  • Ensure Dyson always has excellence in execution throughout Retail 
  • Liaise with the Retail Operations & activation team to ensure Excellence in execution.  
  • Conduct in store training sessions with retailer staff and demonstrators as necessary and in connection to the launch of NPD. 
  • Support during training and induction days 
  • Merchandise retail stores with correct point of sale materials and planograms inline with SD requirements  
  • Ensure Dyson displays are clean, tidy and shoppable. 

About you

  • Exceptional product knowledge. 
  • Previous experience in retail sales and / or merchandising.  
  • Previous target driven experience required.  
  • High level of PC skills, including all Microsoft Office programs. 
  • Self-motivated and an exceptional team player. 
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally with the ability to influence at all levels. 
  • Integrity. 
  • Attention to detail.  
  • Creative and innovative approach to problem solving.  
  • Hands on mentality 
  • Fluent in Dutch & English
