Job Overview

Join our esteemed Investment Advisors/Funds Group as a Client Onboarding Analyst. In this pivotal role, you will facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and collaborating with various internal teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team manager in executing the onboarding procedures for new clients.
• Manage daily onboarding tasks for multiple divisions within the firm.
• Coordinate the complete onboarding process efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation while conducting comprehensive due diligence to ensure adherence to risk ratings and regulatory mandates.
• Conduct OFAC and Negative News assessments on clients and related entities to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Prioritize onboarding cases effectively to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate directly with the Front Office and clients to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
• Adhere to internal audit protocols and engage in process enhancement initiatives.
• Accurately determine industry codes, such as SIC/Sector Codes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Investment Advisor Public Disclosure and Edgar resources, and the relevant documentation.
• Comprehend the organizational framework of Investment Advisors to assess when comprehensive or streamlined KYC onboarding is warranted.
• Work in conjunction with internal departments, including Legal, Compliance, Sanctions, Regulatory, Tax, and Operations.
  
  

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of pertinent experience in client onboarding or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalence.
• Impeccable attention to detail coupled with robust analytical skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in managing and reporting progress on onboarding requests.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in client onboarding, compliance, or a similar role.
• Thorough understanding of KYC and compliance processes.
