Job description

AltScore is seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Talent Acquisition & Development to lead the evolution of our talent strategy in this pivotal role. You will be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier talent to support AltScore’s growth, with a clear focus on building scalable teams that drive 5x ARR growth over the next 18 months. Working closely with the executive team, you will design and implement the systems that power our high-performance culture, ensuring we remain lean and efficient while scaling 3x in people.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in systems engineering or consulting (e.g., McKinsey, Bain) who has experience building scalable processes and high-performing, lean teams. The right candidate will bring a strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution to develop efficient systems that fuel growth, especially in revenue-driving roles across sales, product, and customer success.

Responsibilities ✔️
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to attract top-tier talent across all departments, with a particular focus on revenue-driving roles (e.g., sales, product, customer success) that directly impact AltScore’s 5x ARR growth target.
  • End-to-End Recruitment: Lead the entire recruitment cycle for all roles, ensuring high-quality, timely hiring that maintains high talent density while scaling 3x in headcount.
  • Scalable Processes: Design and implement scalable talent acquisition and development processes that support lean, high-performing teams and align with AltScore’s growth objectives.
  • Talent Development: Create and implement development programs, including mentorship, leadership training, and other initiatives that prepare the company for scaling, particularly in leadership and strategic roles.
  • OKRs & Performance Management: Ensure that OKRs are regularly updated and aligned with business objectives, while leading the performance review process to track and enhance individual and team contributions.
  • Retention Strategy: Develop strategies to retain top talent, ensuring that AltScore’s culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance remains strong as the team grows.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with the executive team to promote AltScore’s culture and values, making the company an attractive destination for top talent, particularly in the competitive SaaS and fintech markets.
  • Succession Planning: Work closely with leadership to develop and manage succession plans for key roles, ensuring long-term sustainability and leadership continuity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with department heads to align hiring needs with broader business goals and ensure optimal resource allocation, with a focus on scaling revenue-generating teams.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track key metrics related to talent acquisition, retention, and development, ensuring that insights are used to optimize processes and achieve growth targets. Regularly report these to the executive team.

Requirements

Qualifications 📃
  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, talent development, or human resources, ideally in high-growth environments within SaaS or enterprise sectors.
  • Proven success in developing and scaling talent acquisition and development processes, particularly in leadership and revenue-generating roles.
  • Systems Engineering or Consulting Background: Ideal candidates will have experience in systems engineering or consulting (e.g., McKinsey, Bain) with a focus on building scalable processes and lean, high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in performance management, OKRs, and building development programs for high-performance teams.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring and scaling teams that directly drive revenue growth, with a focus on sales, customer success, and product management.
  • Bilingual: Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential, with strong communication skills in both languages.
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Systems Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are a plus.

  • Base Salary: $3,000 - $10,000 USD per month, depending on experience.
