Traceable AI is looking for a Director of Product Management to own and execute the strategy for API Runtime Protection. This individual will be responsible for understanding the API security landscape, market trends, and gathering customer requirements at both a market and technical level that would drive the product roadmap.  This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams such as engineering, Customer success, product marketing and sales to deliver API Protection solutions to solve customer problems with speed and agility. This individual will also engage with strategic customers to understand their API security challenges and the market and technology landscape in order to build and execute a product strategy that gives them complete protection for their API’s.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and drive the product strategy for our API Security platform, ensuring it aligns with Traceable’s vision and market demands. 
  • Create and manage the product roadmap working closely with engineering to design, build and launch new features, enhancements and capabilities. Continuously evaluate and adjust roadmap based on customer feedback, competitive landscape and company goals. 
  • Collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and engineering teams to gather insights and address evolving security requirements. 
  • Own the entire product lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery. 
  • Partner with the marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies to support product launches, product adoption and revenue growth. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security-related topics, both internally and externally. Be the voice of the customer within the organization. 
 
Requirements:
  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred. 
  • Start-up experience is a must.
  • At least 8 years of product management experience with at least 5 years in the cybersecurity or application security industry. 
  • Strong technical knowledge in security domain is preferred (Web Application Firewall, data loss prevention, vulnerabilities management, Shift left security, runtime attacks, API security etc)
  • Ability to design complex security features/processes while focusing on ease-of-use for the end user.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Adept to operating in an agile, fast-paced, startup environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
