  • Analyze trends in persistency, growth, sales, and close ratios, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Review off-cycle renewal terms and assess potential impacts.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of brokers using General Agents (GA), Centers of Excellence (COEs), third parties, and technology platforms.
  • Analyze competitor compensation plans, rates, and product offerings to identify competitive positioning opportunities.
  • Assess annual broker bonus program qualifications, identifying gaps and improvement areas.

Content Creation & Presentation Development:

  • Create and organize content for stewardship meetings, collaborating with internal partners to gather necessary data and insights.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations, incorporating new technologies and visual elements to enhance audience engagement.
  • Translate complex data outputs into easily digestible graphs, charts, and visuals for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Condense and simplify content for presentation at both internal strategy sessions and external partner meetings.
  • Contract Management & Negotiation Support:
  • Assist in facilitating contract negotiations between legal teams and producer partners, redlining documents as needed.
  • Work with legal teams to update contracts, track amendments, and maintain contract documentation.
  • Prioritize and track broker and field contract requests, facilitating updates and changes with legal.
  • Coordinate and track NDAs, MSAs, and Security Protocol requests to ensure compliance.

Communication & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal NYL partners to ensure smooth communication and workflow across teams, particularly related to stewardship and broker meetings.
  • Organize and maintain updates to broker toolkits and communicate changes on The Square platform.
  • Catalogue and summarize PRD updates for distribution and leadership concerning broker meetings and stewardship sessions.
  • Maintain resource pages for broker communications, ensuring all content is up to date and accessible.
  • Coordinate with field and distribution leadership on upcoming training and program initiatives.

Event Coordination:

  • Organize logistics for key events, including booking meeting rooms, coordinating lodging, transportation, meals, and event materials.
  • Support NYL teams with post-event wrap-ups and action plans, ensuring all necessary follow-up steps are taken.
  • Facilitate coordination for broker meetings and forums, securing attendance, finalizing logistics, and managing follow-up processes.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics techniques, including trend analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for various audiences.
  • Familiarity with contract management and legal document processes is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
