General Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Business Analyst II to join our agile team, collaborating closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to define and document acceptance criteria, ensuring high-quality digital solutions. In this role, you will apply your expertise in consumer engagement and web-based solutions to drive innovative designs that enhance user experiences. With strong analytical and technical skills, you will identify business needs, estimate project timelines, and ensure solutions meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will mentor junior analysts and contribute to our mission of delivering impactful, consumer-centric digital solutions.

This is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of 2 onsite days per week.
Locations: Chattanooga TN, Columbia, SC, or Portland, ME.

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years’ experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably in an agile environment.
  • Strong background in consumer experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience with building, delivery, and maintenance of web-based consumer engagement solutions.
  • Knowledge of front-end web technologies and consumer-centric design.
  • Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with tools like FIGMA and wireframing/prototyping tools.
  • Passionate about the business direction, priorities, results, and customer experience.
  • Clearly demonstrates analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Takes a logical, analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
  • Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong written communication skills to document and communication requirements
  • Strong team player; able to work effectively within a team and more broadly with people from a variety of backgrounds and areas across the organization.
  • Able to solve complex business problems and drive customer experience and operational efficiency objectives
  • Takes an innovative approach to problem solving
  • IIBA certifications are a plus

Primary Responsibilities for the Business Analyst - Consumer Portals

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements for web-based consumer solutions.
  • Develop and optimize workflows for seamless consumer engagement across digital platforms.
  • Assist with market research and user analysis to ensure best practices in consumer experience and satisfaction.
  • Define and maintain functional and non-functional requirements for web applications - including WCAG.
  • Work closely with design and development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Support the team's development and implementation of consumer-facing features and enhancements.
  • Analyze site performance data and recommend improvements to enhance user engagement.

    The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.

    $73,300.00-$150,500.00
