Your missions

Resource Innovations is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing team. As an Accounts Payable Associate with Resource Innovations, you will process vendor invoices, review expense reports, process AP payments, assist in account reconciliation and module close during Month-end closing.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing: Accurately review, code, and process supplier invoices in the accounting system.
  • Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies, payment inquiries, and related issues.
  • Payment Processing: Assist in preparing and processing payment runs (e.g., checks, ACH transfers).
  • Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies.
  • Reconciliations: Assist in reconciling accounts payable transactions and statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date AP records, including invoices, payment receipts, and vendor documentation.
  • Month-End Closing: Support the month-end close process by preparing AP reports and assisting with reconciliation tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an associate's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; A bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of previous accounts payable or general accounting experience is required without a bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry and invoice processing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and regulations related to accounts payable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the accounting team and other departments.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $44800 - $80000. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. This range may be exceeded for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience.
