Job description

We are looking for a Email and CRM Marketing Specialist to join our growth marketing team. This teammate helps in developing, testing, and monitoring various CRM and email campaigns, including A/B tests and automated customer journeys, while also optimizing performance metrics for both email and SMS. Additionally, the specialist supports customer service by resolving inquiries and configuring dynamic content in campaigns.

The Role

  • Develop, test, QA, deploy, and monitor email campaigns, including standalone emails, behaviorally triggered messages, and automated lifecycle journeys.
  • Create and execute A/B tests for email campaigns and journey optimizations.
  • Support the marketing team in test & learn initiatives.
  • Monitor and optimize email and SMS performance metrics.
  • Support on customer service to resolve any customer-facing issues (e.g. refunds, cancellations, customer inquiries, etc)
  • Configure dynamic content in email campaigns.
  • Engage with customer support as needed, helping with customer inquiries via email.

The Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in email/CRM marketing.
  • Expertise with Customer.io and Klayvio or similar platforms for campaign setup and management
  • Experience with optimizing email deliverability and ensuring strong open and engagement rates with audiences.
  • Experience with audience segmentation and creation using in-app filters.
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills for troubleshooting and making simple updates to email content.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new challenges.
  • Ability to work PST hours.

Nice to have

  • Experience building and deploying SMS campaigns.
  • Experience with in-app push notifications.
