Value Added Logistics Technician

Location: Zoetermeer, Netherlands
Time Type: Full-time – 40 hours a week

Job Overview:

The Value-Added Logistics (VAL) Technician is responsible for ensuring our products are updated, configured, and customized according to customer needs. This includes managing software and firmware installations, calibration, and testing. The role also involves administrative tasks such as documentation, reporting, and identifying areas for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Installation & Technical Support (70%):
    • Configure positioning products to meet customer expectations, including uploading firmware, installing software, setting up connections, calibrating items, and testing setups to ensure immediate usability.
    • Perform tests and inspections on all related items before shipping to ensure flawless customer experience.

  • Personal Development, Administration & Reporting (30%):
    • Administrate and document activities for each installation kit.
    • Create monthly reports on processed items, installation types, and software purchases.
    • Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with the Associate Manager Logistics for implementation.
    • Stay updated on product and process changes via the internal platforms and training from the Professional Services department.

Minimum Requirements:

  • MBO+ education level.
  • Experience in value-added logistics and MS Office.
  • Affinity with software and computers.
  • VOG certificate required.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Team player with a hands-on mentality.
  • Strong organizational and workflow management skills.
  • Analytical and accurate with good time management.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments.
