Who We Are Looking For

AuditBoard is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Product for our IT Risk & Compliance (ITRC) product suite. This leader will drive the strategy, and execution of our ITRC product suite, ensuring it meets the needs of modern organizations facing complex IT governance, risk, and compliance challenges. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ITRC landscape, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in product management and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the ITRC platform that aligns with AuditBoard's overall business goals.

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Product Development and Management

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, market-leading solutions.

  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and successful product execution.

Customer and Market Focus

  • Engage with customers, partners, and industry experts to deeply understand their needs and pain points.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.

  • Advocate for the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of product development.

Performance

  • Define and track key performance metrics to measure the success of the ITRC platform and inform strategic decisions.

  • Drive product adoption and customer satisfaction through effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on IT risk and compliance, governance, and related technologies.

  • SaaS platform experience

  • Proven experience in leading and scaling product teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong understanding of IT risk management frameworks, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards

  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Cross-functional collaborator who builds strong working relationships with partner teams

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.

  • Ability to navigate customer and internal relationships for win/win outcomes
