Job Description:

The Salesforce Administrator, at DealerOn, is a multidimensional position responsible for automating complex business processes, making sure the system is clean and efficient and monitoring new releases. The Salesforce Administrator will perform system implementation and configuration. Additionally, the Salesforce Administrator will create reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity. They will also be responsible for gathering and documenting project and request requirements. This is a mid-level remote position, reporting to our Headquarters office (Rockville, MD).

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee Salesforce-related initiatives by facilitating, monitoring, coordinating, and communicating the expectations for successful development of the department’s services.
  • Lead and conduct ad hoc organizational capability assessments to improve effectiveness as required or requested.
  • Create and maintain list views, reports, and dashboards.
  • Customization of Salesforce apps, objects, fields, record types, and page layouts.
  • Build and maintain workflow rules.
  • Manage organization wide defaults.
  • Ensure proper user maintenance to include permissions and role hierarchy.
  • Security and data management.
  • Gather requirements for new processes with stakeholders.
  • Train new users on using Salesforce.
  • Monitoring of support intake channels.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required.
  • 3+ years of SFDC admin experience.
  • Ability to effectively utilize workflows, process builder, and data integration tools.
  • In-depth understanding of customization options within Salesforce.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce platforms, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Pardot to develop Salesforce solutions.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize business needs based on importance, urgency, or impact.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Internet and Security technologies to integrate data between systems, and applications.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce App Cloud, Lightning, and Mobile Application Platforms.
  • Experience using and configuring JIRA and connection to Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of business processes and IT project delivery methodologies, such as SDLC, agile methodology, the development of continuous integration, and the ability to effectively develop Salesforce app solutions.

The salary range for this position is $62,800 - $120,300
