Job description

This is a remote position.

The client is looking for expertise in developing service maps for applications with critical security vulnerabilities as part of their Technical Debt Mitigation Program. These service maps will detail the IT environment, including infrastructure, software, hardware, and interdependencies, to support a comprehensive and effective mitigation plan.

Responsibilities

Contribute to delivering service mapping services as part of the Technical Debt Mitigation Program.

Collaborate with the Service Mapping Lead to complete service maps and associated deliverables for each application.

Develop a work plan with the Service Mapping Lead, monitor progress, and report outcomes.

Engage with stakeholders to gather information, create and validate service maps, and respond to inquiries.

Use ServiceNow to create and maintain service maps.

Apply analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills to detect and address issues quickly.

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at various technical levels.

Escalate issues and risks as needed.

Requirements

Broad understanding of technical environment and linkages between systems: Minimum 3 years of experience.

Experience in developing service maps for organizations with complex IT environments: Minimum 3 years of experience.
Experience supporting application infrastructure and/or software development: Minimum 3 years of experience.
Experience using the ServiceNow application to create and maintain service maps, reports, dashboards, and visual task boards: Minimum 3 years of experience.
Experience working with application stakeholders to gather information about their systems and underlying technology infrastructure: Minimum 3 years of experience.
ITIL Foundations certification.
Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels
