Job description

Our client, a technology solutions provider, needs a Sr. DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer for a full-time role. The Sr. DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer will work remotely and be responsible for automating processes, managing infrastructure, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and focusing on continuous improvement in an Azure environment.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience working as a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer
  • 5+ years of experience working with an observability tool. Preferably New Relic, Datadog, or Splunk
  • Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools including Ansible, Docker, Git, and Gitflow in an Azure environment.
  • Recent experience working with a financial/investment management firm.
  • 5+ years of experience designing CI/CD pipelines in an Azure environment.
  • Experience working in IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS environments.
  • Provide support after hours and occasional weekends, when necessary.

Desired Skills

  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure configuration automation and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Working on the release of applications built on .Net core and Angular/React.
  • Experience with data platforms/engineering including Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, or Azure SQL managed instance
  • Coding experience with C#, Python, or PowerShell
  • Exposure to content delivery network with Cloudflare or Fastly.
  • Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
