We seek a motivated Travel Sales Specialist to help Travel Advisors create memorable travel experiences for clients and small groups. If you are passionate about travel and excel in customer service, this role is ideal for you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service by understanding and addressing clients’ travel needs, preferences, and budgets.
  • Stay informed about travel trends and destination information to offer personalized recommendations.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of travel options, including flights, accommodations, transfers, car rentals, activities, and travel protection.
  • Craft customized travel itineraries that reflect individual preferences and interests.
  • Oversee the booking process, ensuring accuracy and meeting clients’ requirements.
  • Provide cost-effective recommendations aligned with clients’ budgets.
  • Promote and upsell travel services and products such as travel insurance, guided tours, and excursions.
  • Address and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain communication to gather feedback and build lasting relationships.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary contact for strategic accounts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to overall company success.
  • Utilize advanced computer skills to manage bookings using our software.

Qualifications

  • A degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of travel destinations, airlines, hotels, and travel products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems and software is beneficial.
  • Effective at handling challenges and resolving issues.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and organization in all travel arrangements.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced call center environment.

Terms of Employment

  • Hours: Full-Time, 40+ hours per week
  • Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience, plus bonus incentives.
