Job Title: Director, Food and Beverage - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

We are in search of an accomplished leader to spearhead our Food and Beverage departments at our vibrant resort. This pivotal role encompasses strategic financial oversight, adherence to company standards, and collaboration on global initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage situational analysis to formulate and implement long-term strategies while managing the daily operations of our dynamic food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of Food and Beverage departments with a focus on staffing, revenue and margin enhancement, operational controls, and performance metrics.
  • Partner closely with park duty managers to swiftly address operational challenges and ensure an exceptional guest and team member experience.
  • Communicate departmental goals and expectations, ensuring compliance with established operating and safety standards.
  • Engage with team members, guests, and key partners while monitoring equipment and infrastructure needs, setting objectives for growth and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate across key departments, including Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Finance, and Park Operations, to drive strategic initiatives, budget planning, and employee development.
  • Foster the professional development of the management team through continuous training and exemplary role modeling.
  • Manage Human Resources matters within the Food and Beverage division, including performance reviews, employee relations, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Take an active role in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting practices.
  • Extensive experience in P&L oversight and managing multi-unit operations.
  • A proven track record of success in high-volume settings.
  • Capability to cultivate teamwork and collaboration across various departments.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality is mandatory; a Master's degree is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a General Manager, Director, or Executive role within the restaurant industry, Specialty Entertainment Center, or Theme Park settings.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on succession planning and achieving organizational objectives.
