It is a very exciting time of growth for our Delivery Services team, and we are currently hiring a HR & Resource Manager – PMO to provide leadership and growth for our professional services Project Managers and Project Coordinators.

This role can be located anywhere in the United States, but we would prefer Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix or Tampa.

What will this role entail?

We are seeking an experienced people manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO). This leadership role will work closely with the PMO delivery leadership team and report to the PMO Director.  The role will be responsible for providing comprehensive human resource (HR) management support for a large team of 20 project manager and project coordinator direct reports, including individual career planning, team collaboration, effective communication and fostering a positive work environment.  Working with Quisitive’s PMO delivery leaders to assign and ensure successful delivery of assignments, manage workload, and ensure billable utilization targets are met for each team member will be an integral part of this role. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Employee Relations: Serving as the primary point of contact for your direct reports within the PMO, addressing and resolving any employee concerns or HR-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Performance Management: Conducting formal, regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports. Assisting in the execution and management of Quisitive’s established performance management processes for each team member, including goal setting, performance reviews, career planning and employee development plans that align to business and technical goals.
  • Onboarding: Coordinating the onboarding of new hires or internal transfers to the team.
  • Training and Professional Development: Working with Quisitive’s Training Coordinator, identify training needs and gaps, coordinate individual training plans to ensure team members are gaining professional development and progressing in their career paths.
  • Employee Engagement: Developing, implementing and participating in initiatives to promote team engagement, satisfaction and retention (remote or in-person as appropriate).
  • Reporting: Preparing and analyzing metrics and reports to support decision-making and to identify areas of excellence and improvement for individual team members and the team as a whole.

What’s required to be successful in this role?

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a people manager role, preferably within a project management, resource coordination or similar environment for a technology services company.
  • Strong knowledge of people leadership principles, policies, procedures and best practices
  • A promoter of trust and teamwork; ability to delegate, motivate and influence
  • Ability to handle employee sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to develop productive customer/team relationships, work across functional boundaries, take ownership of assignments and work independently (or in a team) to accomplish goals
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple work streams and embrace change in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism while managing to deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, time management and organizational skills
  • Innovative thinker with a desire and aptitude to always be learning and adapt to new business and/or functional concepts
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to Quisitive U.S. office locations as needed (minimal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field
