Job description

Everbridge: a fast-growing global provider of SaaS-based critical communications and enterprise safety solutions, is actively seeking an Implementation Procurement Specialist to join our team. This fully remote role that can be based anywhere in Hungary.
 
Please note that the working hours for this position will align with US working hours, from 15:00 to 23:30 (CET), Monday to Friday.

What you'll do:
  • Manage and process daily purchase requests from various departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Secure competitive quotes from suppliers, consistently driving value for the company.
  • Maintain strong relationships with preferred suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliable delivery.
  • Oversee supplier contract renewals, terminations, and reviews, ensuring all agreements meet company requirements.
  • Streamline procurement processes by optimizing tools and systems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on cost-saving initiatives and procurement budget performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal standards.
  • Align procurement efforts with business objectives by working closely with internal departments.

  • What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to achieve cost savings.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with experience working with international teams and suppliers.
  • Ability to analyze procurement data and provide actionable insights.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, including contract management and supplier relations.
