Brennen Bliss is the CEO of Propellic, a digital marketing company based in Austin, TX, focused on inspiring travel through SEO, advertising, and soon creative services. Propellic helps travel and tourism brands reach diverse audiences and inspire global exploration through innovative and results-driven marketing strategies, while valuing efficiency, innovation, and generosity in sharing knowledge with others.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant who aligns with Propellics core values: Say It Like It Is, Deeply Aligned Vision, Execute Relentlessly, Generosity of Knowledge, and Lead the Pack. The ideal candidate will manage tasks efficiently and support Brennen's high-paced, travel-oriented schedule.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage CEOs email: prioritize, organize, draft responses, and coordinate appointments
  • Manage CEOs calendar: schedule meetings and ensure smooth communication
  • Coordinate team calendars: oversee scheduling and coordination
  • Oversee performance reviews: plan and manage the 360ΒΊ process
  • Facilitate hiring process: act as the main contact and keep the candidate pipeline updated
  • Handle additional tasks as they arise
  • Assist with personal tasks as needed to help manage day-to-day responsibilities

In addition to the above, the ideal candidate must be/have:

  • Detail-oriented and thorough in completing tasks
  • Quick to take action and handle tasks efficiently
  • Resilient, able to stay calm under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities with ease
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathetic and mindful of perception in all interactions
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • Dependable and trustworthy in managing tasks autonomously, while providing regular check-ins

Experience with the following tools is a plus:

  • Google Workspace
  • Slack
  • Teamwork (or similar project management software)

Position Details:

  • This is a Remote Full-Time W2 position
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, sick time, paid holidays, 401K with a 5% match, disability, and an annual cruise retreat
  • Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Central Time
  • The pay rate is $25 per hour USD
  • Occasional domestic travel needed (less than 10%), including an annual team retreat
  • You must be able to pass a background check
  • We're looking for someone to become a long-term (3+ years) team member
