Adoc Talent Management is seeking a Social Science Researcher for its client, a cutting-edge company that mixes big data with social science. The company develops and provides a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution and is a pioneer in the field of technology-enabled ethnography at big data scale. The company is currently hiring an Anthropologist to support their growth.

Job

This position offers an extraordinary opportunity to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. This role would involve various studies from plant-based proteins and sustainable packaging in food, to the future of women’s sexual health. Their clients make investments to future-proof their businesses using the results of state-of-the-art research.

Challenges is plentiful in this role and you will develop SaaS platform and methodology’ expertises. You will interact regularly with an interdisciplinary project team (other researchers) to deliver completed analyses and reports using the SaaS platform.

You will demonstrate the ability to collaborate and develop/maintain relationships inside and outside the firm to enable effective completion of business objectives. You will be interfacing with clients by presenting research (typically over video conference) throughout the process — from project briefing through to delivery.

Profile

You hold a PhD degree in Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology, History or another relevant discipline in SSH. You feel comfortable with well established concepts in the field of cultural anthropology or cultural sociology.

You speak English AND Spanish fluently to support their clients in Spain and Latin America.

You enjoy working as a team on large complex projects and have strong attention to details and quality control. You demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and oral). You are proficient and have strong skills related to technology as apps for presentations, document creation, conference calls etc.

You have the ability to work fast, efficiently and under pressure. The position includes to learn quickly and work under tight deadlines and keep tasks moving. Organised and independent, you demonstrate the capabilities to prioritize multiple tasks.

As a Researcher, you will be comfortable in an environment that requires a high level of autonomy and intellectual curiosity. Successful candidates will be energetic leaders and have the opportunity to work for a disruptive company.
