The Vice President of Retail will be responsible for overseeing and growing our Retail vertical within the ad tech space. This leader will leverage their deep understanding of the Retail industry, along with their expertise in advertising technology, to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance client satisfaction, and solidify our position as a market leader. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and have a proven track record in both Retail and ad tech industries. 

What You Will Do
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the Retail vertical, aligning with overall company goals and market trends. 
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Retail sector, building strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. 
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales and marketing strategies tailored to the Retail industry. 
  • Client Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing Retail clients, ensuring their needs are met and they are leveraging our technology to its fullest potential. 
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support an ancillary sales team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. 
  • Product Development: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure our solutions meet the specific needs of Retail clients. 
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in media as a thought leader in the intersection of Retail and ad tech. 

  • Who You Are
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Retail industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the ad tech, media, creative or technology space. Direct client-side experience preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the Retail industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • A deep understanding of media channel strategy/trends, with an emphasis on Video (Linear TV, CTV, OLV) and Social.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies, with a passion for developing high-impact presentations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Innovative thinker with a track record of driving growth and transformation.
  • Experience working for matrix organizations and the ability to win support and drive deliverable timelines from key internal cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success in a highly dynamic, constantly evolving environment.
