We are looking for a strategic, passionate, and hands-on Sr. Manager, Trade + Consumer Strategy to oversee the marketing and publicity efforts for Wattpad WEBTOON Studios’ Global Publishing division for a one-year maternity leave contract. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Global Publishing, you will work primarily on our direct publishing imprints, consulting as needed on our licensed publishing initiatives. You will manage cross-functional channel-focused initiatives, developing strategies that will make Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group titles bestsellers and our writers the talk of the publishing world. You will also partner with Corporate Communications to ensure that whenever possible, Studios stories include book-focused information in larger PR hits. This is a high-impact role where you will play a key role in shaping the Wattpad WEBTOON Studios’ Publishing business.
The working hours for this position are based on the Eastern Time Zone.
What you’ll be doing:Lead all activities across six key channels: Advertising, Publicity, Retail Marketing, Events, Social Media, and Influencers for our Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group titles.Working closely with the Associate Director, set budgets and allocate resources across our title mix and reconcile financial obligations monthly.Actively participate in all key Publishing meetings, providing insights on acquisitions, pub dates, and covers to ensure we are delivering on our promise to be a commercially focused imprint.Evaluate and make recommendations on title marketing campaigns to ensure that each is focused and strategically aligned with budget and audience goals.Develop and manage campaigns for top-tier titles as needed. Present plans in meetings with sales, editors, creators, agents, and Wattpad WEBTOON Studios staff.
