Job description

SERVICE ENGINEER - OPTIV is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, calibration and maintenance of advanced measuring equipment used in various industrial sectors. This position requires both technical skills and excellent knowledge of metrology to ensure accurate and repeatable measurement results. SERVICE ENGINEER - OPTIV will support our customers in Austria and Hungary.


YOUR BACKGROUND


  • Proven working experience in the service/enterprise technical support
  • Experience with CNC machines is welcome
  • Self-driven and pro-active personality with willingness to get a new knowledge
  • Basic understanding of business principles and customer service practices
  • Customers issue oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Reliable with patience and professionalism
  • Proficiency in MS Office, experience in sMax is an advantage
  • Fluent in German and English


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Client-site servicing, repair and installation of company products
  • Technical activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites
  • Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to provide a resolution
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports for a direct manager
  • Maintenance support
  • Cooperate with sales, service and applications teams to keep high quality of ensured services
  • Installation, calibration and maintenance Optiv machines
  • Advanced troubleshooting for Optiv machines
