Description

Business Development Consultant in Agriculture Sector

We are looking for a dynamic and goal-getter individual to develop our business platforms in Poland and create new market opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Create comprehensive development strategies and plans to achieve business goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, growers and other stakeholders in the industry.
  • Participate in different events in the industry such as conferences, trade shows or webinars and create new connections.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities in platforms such us biologicals, inoculants, digital markets license of new seed varieties (soybeans, alfalfa and cereals) and 3rd parties for Crop Protection technology in order to achieve business growth.
  • Prepare business cases and present it to country and regional colleagues of the company sing data-driven insights.
  • Generate reports to show progress and provide insights on business development results.

Location:

Flexible – ideally in the central region

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • University degree – degree in agriculture will be an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial roles in the agriculture sector.
  • Business proficiency in English both written and verbal.
  • Open minded, ready to catch good opportunities spotted in any platform and adaptable to changing market condition.
  • Hard working individual with focus on results.
  • Excellent communication, able to establish relationships and build strong network within the industry and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders, with strong persuasive skills to effectively sell ideas and strategies.
  • High amount of travel around the country visiting different stakeholders.
