Your missions

Selected as a Top Workplace in Philadelphia for the past 15 years and headquartered in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania, MSS has a need for a Claims Associate. This person will be responsible for the investigation, processing, disposition and resolution of customer or mover claims. We are seeking a motivated and high-energy individual who will develop responsive relationships with customers to resolve and mitigate claims. This position requires a positive individual who can adapt to change.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative duties and support initiatives for the department.
  • Contact customers and clients to gather feedback on services provided, ensuring their satisfaction, and addressing any concerns.
  • Communicate with technicians to obtain additional details regarding work performed, including necessary paperwork, and photos.
  • Follow-up with vendors/subcontractors to collect invoices, paperwork, and/or specific reports.
  • Maintain a high level of activity and accountability using the Genesys system.
  • Research parts & hardware needed for active claims.
  • Contact customers to confirm missing parts & hardware, the make & model of item, and the client’s address for parts & hardware delivery.
  • Follow up with client and track successful receipt of parts and resolution of any issues.
  • Research and recruit specialty vendors to assist with claim repairs.
  • Contact all BRAVO award winners to advise and obtain necessary information for BRAVO processing.
  • Contact vendors and secure a completed or updated W-9 forms.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to work 9am-6pm EST
  • Occasional overtime and rotating Saturday hours (9am-1pm) required.
  • High school degree required.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or other related fields is desired.


Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic technical concepts regarding household specialty items/parts and repair services, or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly while on the job.
  • Basic computer literacy, specifically MS Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop responsive relationships with internal and external clients, and display courtesy, tenacity, professionalism, persistency, and tact.
  • Considerable phone and e-mail communication and follow-up skills.
  • Must be organized, attentive to detail, positive, adaptable, and professional
