A Brief Overview

The US LBM Manager of Financial Process will lead the company's financial operations and drive process improvements within the finance department. This role plays a key part in enhancing financial efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the development of new or apply existing state of the art business practices based on the needs of the US LBM divisions, regional and corporate organizations.
  • Manage the implementation of desired ‘to be’ processes by working with appropriate divisional, regional and Holdings team members.
  • Negotiate the introduction of new business processes with the affected organizations. Influence applicable US LBM leadership to foster the acceptance and buy-in of required process changes.
  • Develop project plans and manage multiple concurrent implementation efforts with supporting project teams. Lead and direct implementation efforts from conception to completion by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Coordinate financial audits and compliance reviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Lead and mentor the financial process team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance on complex financial issues and support professional development.
  • Conduct regular assessments of financial processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline financial workflows, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • 8+ years of diversified financial and accounting experience.
  • 3+ years of experience within the building materials distribution industry.

Skills And Abilities

  • Proven experience in implementing process improvements and leveraging technology for financial optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey financial information effectively.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to lead and manage change initiatives related to financial process improvements.
