About The Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Director of User Experience to join our Digital team. This individual will lead large-scale cross-functional design initiatives and shape the strategic vision for user experience across our digital platforms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with executive leadership, product teams, and engineering to ensure that our digital experiences are optimized to meet business objectives and customer needs. You will also play a key role in evolving our internal design operations processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation across the team.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Lead large-scale, cross-functional design initiatives across multiple digital platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, product, engineering, marketing and operational teams to influence product strategy and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Drive continuous improvement in user experience by leveraging data-driven insights from user research, A/B testing, and usability studies.
- Evolve and optimize internal design operations processes to improve cross-functional collaboration, communication, and design delivery.
- Oversee the development and implementation of design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative design culture that empowers designers to contribute effectively across departments.
- Manage team of direct reports, providing direction, coaching and overall support that align and inspire the team collectively to deliver on our business goals.
What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 4 years in a leadership role, preferably within the eCommerce sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in UX-related field (HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design) or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of leading and growing high-performing design teams.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic impact and successful execution of large-scale design projects.
- Expertise in user-centered design methodologies, design thinking, and data-driven design.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of current design tools, prototyping software, and front-end technologies.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile technologies, with a focus on creating responsive and adaptive designs.
- Ability to think strategically while also being detail-oriented and hands-on when necessary.

The starting salary for this position is $141,000 - $190,000 and may increase to $235,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 20% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
