Job description

We are in search of a driven and compelling Telesales Agent to become part of our sales force. Your role will involve engaging with prospective clients, advocating our products or services, and securing sales by means of proficient communication and fostering relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential customers from a provided list or database. Engage prospects to introduce products or services, explain features, and generate interest.
  • Develop and deliver effective sales pitches and presentations tailored to the needs of the customer. Highlight key product benefits and address potential objections to drive sales.
  • Qualify leads by assessing their interest, needs, and purchasing potential. Determine whether prospects are suitable for further sales efforts or require additional follow-up.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through regular follow-up calls and personalized communication. Ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term business relationships.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and quotas. Track performance metrics and report on progress towards achieving sales goals.
  • Accurately enter and update customer information in the CRM system. Maintain a clean and organized database to ensure efficient follow-up and record-keeping.
  • Stay informed about the company's products or services, industry trends, and competitors. Continuously update knowledge to effectively address customer questions and provide relevant information.
  • Address and overcome customer objections by providing clear, persuasive responses. Use problem-solving skills to resolve concerns and close sales.
  • Document sales activities, customer interactions, and outcomes. Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights to management.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Follow best practices for telemarketing and ensure all interactions are professional and ethical.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in telesales, telemarketing, or a similar role with a proven track record of achieving sales targets is preferred.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively pitch products, handle objections, and close sales. Experience with sales techniques and strategies is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade customers over the phone. Strong listening skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Solid customer service skills with the ability to build rapport, address concerns, and provide a positive customer experience.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and telephony software. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and other sales tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude. Persistence in pursuing leads and following up on potential sales opportunities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing sales strategies, customer needs, and market conditions in a fast-paced environment.
