Job Description

This Banking Consulting Program Director position leads transformation and modernization projects in the financial services sector, particularly focusing on Oracle Banking Cloud Services implementation with an emphasis on onsite program management. Responsibilities include client management, consulting engagement and delivery, and project and engagement management. The role is accountable for achieving business goals, ensuring high-quality project delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability.

The Banking Consulting Program Director will lead and manage transformation projects for our strategic clients in Oracle Banking Cloud Services and advocate for key change initiatives, build strategic partnerships, drive competitive advantage, and provide organizational-wide leadership. This role requires advanced skills in managing complexity, performance execution, client management, consulting engagement, and project management.

Key Functional Responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Accurately assess client's business performance and strategic goals.
  • Focus on Oracle solutions that meet current and future client needs.
  • Address concerns of top-level decision makers.
  • Preemptively manage and exceed client expectations.
  • Pursue long-term account goals and secure long-term client referenceability.


Consulting Engagement & Delivery

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define strategies.
  • Highlight potential barriers to change in IT strategy.
  • Develop Oracle Consulting strategic plans for expanding the product and service mix.


Project and Engagement Management

  • Direct the development of complex program delivery plans.
  • Communicate risk management plans to executive management.
  • Incorporate risk mitigation strategies in contract formulation.
  • Manage large and complex deals involving multiple lines of business.
  • Secure management buy-in at the executive level and develop communication strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years relevant experience, including 5+ years in project management within the Financial Services industry.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multi pillar projects of increasing complexity following solid project management principles.
  • Cloud/Modernization: Experience managing large scale cloud transformations and modernization programs.
  • Matrix Management: Comfortable working in a matrix management environment.
  • Skills: Strong influencing and negotiation skills with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Advanced skills in change agility, collaboration, communication, competitive edge, inspirational leadership, mastering complexity, and performance drive & execution.
  • Location preference in Vienna, VA or surrounding area

US: Hiring Range: from $132,600 - $291,900 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
