Role Overview:

The Market Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, analyzing market conditions, and supporting the establishment of new entities in target regions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of global markets, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Your Tasks
Main responsibilities:
  • Organizing, teaching and leading a team of SAM’s to work towards agreed targets.
  • Providing mentorship and training, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new SAM’s.
  • Set individual and team sales goals, forecasting sales volumes, and creating action plans
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Partner with senior management to align sales goals with overall business objectives
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the software products and solutions offered
Your Profile
Requirements:
  • Experience in Strategic Account Management 
     Proven track record managing strategic accounts with a focus on landing and expanding within large, complex organizations. 
  • Leadership Skills 
     Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor senior sales professionals, driving high performance and accountability. 
  • Key Account Planning Expertise 
     Strong experience in developing and executing key account plans, with an emphasis on long-term customer relationships and growth strategies. 
  • Sales Process Knowledge 
     Deep understanding of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, and experience ensuring proper implementation across the team. 
  • Industry Experience 
     Familiarity with SaaS sales and solutions tailored to manufacturing or related industries. 
  • OT experience desirable 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration 
     Ability to work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product, and customer success to support strategic account growth. 
  • Analytical Skills 
     Strong data-driven approach to decision-making, including experience using Salesforce CRM. 
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills 
     Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven ability to lead high-stakes negotiations. 
  • Performance Management 
     Experience in setting KPIs, monitoring team performance, and coaching sales reps to consistently exceed targets.
