We are looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Marketing team in our downtown Orlando office. The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for the daily utilization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) employing relevant modules including Journey Builder, Personalization and Automation Studio, optimizing to deliver relevant messaging, targeting and reporting. Implementing best practices for marketing automation to maximize operating efficiencies in support of marketing sales efforts. Compensation for this position starts at $89,000 and is based on experience. This role qualifies for a hybrid work from home schedule after initial training period.

What will I be doing in this role?

  • Utilize relevant modules within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Build, test and deploy marketing campaigns including personalization and dynamic content
  • Designs and develops email templates, which will include coding of emails using HTML, CSS and AMPscript
  • Leverage Journey Builder to deliver multi-touch communications
  • Create SQL queries in Automation Studio to segment audiences
  • Build analytics reports and dashboards to provide visibility into marketing campaign results and to measure effectiveness and return on marketing efforts
  • Respond to common business requirements and perform administrative functions within Marketing Cloud
  • Maintain best practices for Marketing Automation Platforms, including troubleshooting, naming conventions, list management, etc.
  • Provide troubleshooting / first line of support for stakeholders working on deliverables and encountering errors or technical issues with SFMC 

Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other leading marketing automation platform such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, IBM Acoustic, Braze, or ExactTarget
  • Working knowledge of HTML and email design principles
  • SFMC Email Specialist and/or SFMC Administrator certification preferred, with an understanding of how journeys function in SFMC Journey Builder

  • Salesforce Platform Developer certification (Preferred)
  • Database management/SQL experience
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects from concept to completion under tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of email best practices (e.g., targeted lists, subject lines, messaging, deliverability); as well as best practices in direct mail, SMS, phone call/IVR, and mobile/SMS messaging
