Job Title
Senior HW FPGA Engineer

Job Description

Join us as an HW Senior Engineer and FPGA Expert where you'll play a pivotal role in developing , designing and optimizing FPGA solutions for our cutting-edge projects. Your expertise will drive innovation and excellence in digital design in the detection team in CT\AMI.

Your role:

  • Take part in design reviews while also working Hands ON
  • Design, write and review documents .
  • Take part in conducting code reviews and to work on designing better solutions.
  • Assist in FW changes impact analysis, FMEA, and design mitigations.
  • Take part in creating integration plans for different blocks and defining tests/simulations for functionality and test external interfaces.
  • Take part in board design reviews
  • Keep up to date with new technologies, design methods, and tools capabilities.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in FPGA design in a multidisciplinary industry. 
  • Strong understanding of digital design concepts, clock domains, timing closure, and power optimization.
  • Ability to create clear and concise design documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and implementation details.
  • Experience in signal processing algorithms and techniques for implementing functions efficiently on FPGAs.
  • Ability to design and integrate FPGA design into larger systems including interfacing with other hardware components and microprocessors and HW-SW interfaces.
  • Mastery of HDLs like Verilog or VHDL for designing and implementing complex FPGA designs and architectures,.
  • Proficient in debugging techniques and tools for identifying and resolving issues in FPGA designs.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software engineers, and system engineers.

Advantage

  • Board design experience and good understanding in schematic, PCB layout, signal integrity analysis, and knowledge of industry standards such as DDR,etc.
