Your missions

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Support Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. As a Senior Network Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced support and troubleshooting for our network infrastructure. You will work closely with our network engineers and IT support team to resolve complex network issues, implement network enhancements, and ensure the overall stability and performance of our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for network-related incidents and problems
  • Collaborate with network engineers to design and implement network solutions
  • Monitor network performance and identify potential issues or areas for improvement
  • Implement network changes and enhancements in accordance with established procedures and best practices
  • Manage network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate firewalls and security measures
  • Participate in network audits and compliance assessments
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in network support and troubleshooting

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network support and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching
  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
  • Proficiency in firewall configuration and security management
  • Knowledge of network authentication and access control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certifications in networking (e.g. Cisco CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable

Requirements

✔️Description of knowledge and experience:

  • skilled at daily network management (diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, responding to incidents and quickly restoring services, delivering technical consultation to other units, etc.),
  • skilled at planning and controlling IT operations (defining, creating and ensuring following of standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with policies from Engineering and Cybersecurity, patching, upgrading, hardening, monitoring, etc.),
  • experience in managing at least a few hundreds of switches and routers in LAN and WAN,
  • experience in managing a big installations of load balancers, DWDMs, Wi-Fi access points, IPS-es, firewalls, VPN concentrators, management and monitoring tools for the above technologies
